Support programme management, coordination, and capacity development functions for the AROS Programme. The role involves assisting with documentation, event coordination, data analysis, and research.
Applicants to the UN Internship Programme are not required to have professional work experience.
A university degree with specialization in international relations, national security or defence studies, project or programme management, geospatial science, engineering, imagery analysis, remote sensing, or a closely related discipline is considered an asset. Applicants must be a student in the final year of the first university degree (bachelor or equivalent), Master’s or Ph.D. Programme or equivalent, or have completed a Bachelor’s, Master’s or PH.D. Programme.
Languages Required: Full fluency in oral and written English is required.
Languages Preferred: Knowledge of another UN language is desirable.
Contract Duration: 6 months
Work Modality: Flexible (Hybrid, all remote, or in-person)
Remuneration: The United Nations does not financially remunerate interns. Costs and arrangements for travel, visas, accommodation, and living expenses are the responsibility of interns or their sponsoring institutions.
