Programme Support Assistant Intern

Overview

This internship provides support to the UNODC Country Office in Nigeria (CONGA) by assisting with program operations and administrative tasks under the supervision of the Country Representative.

Tasks Summary

• Assistance in drafting and preparing official documents
• Attending and summarizing conferences and meetings
• Document, legal and internet research
• Assistance during conferences
• Working on web-presentation
• Evaluation of projects
• Compiling statistics
• Media analysis
• Speech-writing
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Experience Requirements

No working experience is required to apply for the United Nations Internship Programme.

Qualification Requirements

• Be enrolled in, or have recently completed, a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher); OR be enrolled in, or have recently completed, the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum bachelor’s degree or equivalent).
• Have studied areas such as political science, public affairs, administration, programme management, or any related area.
• Computer literacy in standard software applications.

Other Details

Languages Required: Fluency in spoken and written English is required for this Internship Programme.

Remuneration: The internship is UNPAID. Costs and arrangements for travel, visas, accommodation and living expenses are the responsibility of interns or their sponsoring institutions.
