Intern, Programme Management Support (AROS Programme)

Overview

Support programme management, coordination, and capacity development functions for the AROS Programme. The role involves assisting with documentation, logistics, data collection, research, and administrative support.

Tasks Summary

• Assisting with the preparation, editing, and formatting of programme documentation.
• Supporting the coordination of meetings, training activities, and events.
• Assisting with data collection, basic analysis, and visualization.
• Supporting monitoring and reporting efforts.
• Conducting background research on thematic areas.
• Providing technical outputs during the development of knowledge products.
• Providing general administrative and coordination support.

Experience Requirements

Qualification Requirements

• Be enrolled in, or have completed, a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher).
• Be enrolled in, or have completed, the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum bachelor’s degree or equivalent).
• A field of study that is closely related to the type of internship is required.

Other Details

Languages Required: • Full fluency in oral and written English is required.

Languages Preferred: • Knowledge of another UN language is desirable.

Contract Duration: 6 months

Work Modality: Flexible (Hybrid, all remote, or in-person)

Remuneration: The United Nations does not financially remunerate interns. Costs and arrangements for travel, visas, accommodation, and living expenses are the responsibility of interns or their sponsoring institutions.
