Overview
The Associate National Project Officer will support the implementation of education projects in Afghanistan, focusing on project coordination, monitoring, evaluation, reporting, and technical assistance.
Tasks Summary
- Support the preparation and implementation of detailed work plans.
- Contribute to day-to-day project coordination.
- Assist in the preparation of project procurement plans.
- Liaise with local implementing partners.
- Support communication and outreach with local communities.
- Contribute to the development and updating of M&E tools.
- Support the use of feedback and monitoring mechanisms.
- Assist in monitoring financial utilization and preparing reports.
- Contribute to the localization of regional guidebooks.
- Monitor developments in skills development and literacy programmes.
- Support the development and implementation of training plans for IPs.
- Maintain regular communication with IPs.
- Provide coordination support for IP staff recruitment and procurement.
- Support the organization of consultations and learning events.
- Contribute to project visibility and communication activities.
- Draft and prepare project success stories, impact notes, briefings, publications and reports.
Experience Requirements
- Progressively responsible professional experience in education or related development fields.
- Demonstrated experience in non-formal education, TVET, literacy programmes and/or parenting education.
Qualification Requirements
Advanced university degree (Master’s or equivalent) in Education, Social Sciences, Development Studies, or a related field.
