Overview

The Fundraising Officer (Sustainable Growth) supports the UNICEF Chile Country Office in protecting and growing its core income by strengthening donor retention and diversifying income streams, leveraging data and analytics.

Tasks Summary
  • Lead day-to-day implementation and optimization of the integrated retention and sustainable growth plan for pledge donors.
  • Monitor performance against KPIs, prepare performance briefs/dashboards, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Map, improve, and quality-assure donor journeys and communications.
  • Support the development and implementation of the Legacy Giving strategy and annual plan.
  • Provide day-to-day oversight of reporting, dashboards, and insights to enable decision-making.
  • Provide direct supervision and guidance to NOA Fundraising Officers.
  • Contribute to annual planning, forecasting, and budget monitoring for the sustainable growth/retention portfolio.
Experience Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of progressively relevant work experience in growth or lifecycle marketing, customer/donor engagement and retention, loyalty programmes, or customer service in a results-driven environment, preferably supporting Individual Giving/fundraising programmes.
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas is desirable: CRM and marketing automation (ideally Salesforce), segmentation and donor journey management, performance analytics and dashboarding (KPIs, LTV, churn/retention), A/B testing and campaign optimisation, data quality/database management, vendor/agency coordination, and budget tracking.
  • Fundraising, legacy/planned giving and database management experience is an asset.
Qualification Requirements
  • University Degree in Business, Communication or Marketing studies is required preferably supplemented by management, advertising, sales or related areas training or university courses in these areas.
  • An advanced university degree (Master’s degree or equivalent) is an asset.
