Overview
Lead day-to-day in-country implementation and coordination of the SwissTrade+ Programme in Viet Nam, aiming to make exports more sustainable, resilient, and higher in value-added.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with government counterparts and project partners to manage relationships and ensure project support.
- Coordinate and monitor project activities within Viet Nam, ensuring smooth operations and synergies.
- Provide technical support for project components and oversee monitoring and reporting.
- Organize project governance meetings and follow up on recommendations.
- Manage the ITC project office in Hanoi and provide guidance to experts.
Required Experience
- A minimum of seven (7) years of experience in result-based project/programme management, administration or related area is required.
- Experience in trade-related technical assistance, business support or related field is required.
- Experience working with trade-related institutions and/or private sector networks in Viet Nam is required.
- Experience working with UN, SECO and/or other development agencies is desirable.
Qualifications
Advanced university degree (Master’s or equivalent) in International Trade, Economics, Business Administration, Development Studies, or related field. A first-level degree (Bachelor’s degree or equivalent) in the specified fields of studies with two additional years of relevant work experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.
