Overview
Provide medical support and care to migrants and refugees during their journey and stay in various migration facilities, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to address health needs.
Tasks Summary
- Conduct health assessments and screenings for migrants.
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide immediate medical care.
- Deliver health education sessions to migrants.
- Implement infection control measures.
- Work closely with various stakeholders to ensure healthcare services.
- Maintain accurate medical records and prepare reports.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum of three years relevant clinical experience.
- Experience working in the field of migration health, refugee health, or a similar healthcare setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of public health principles, infectious disease control, and international health guidelines in the context of migration.
- Training or working experience in Tuberculosis management, mass immunizations, communicable diseases, laboratory testing or public health is an advantage.
Qualification Requirements
• Nursing Degree with a valid license to practice nursing in Algeria.
