Overview

The Project Officer will support and assist the Project Manager in the implementation and achievement of the Girls Football 3.0 project objectives, focusing on strengthening girls' leadership and capacity to combat gender and age-based discrimination.

Tasks Summary
  • Develop detailed implementation plans (DIP) and workplans.
  • Plan and implement project activities in a timely manner.
  • Support the Project Manager in achieving target outputs and developing sustainability plans.
  • Update indicator tracking tables to measure project progress.
  • Collaborate with technical advisors on cross-cutting issues.
  • Conduct day-to-day monitoring of project locations.
  • Facilitate discussions and coordination among stakeholders.
  • Monitor project indicators progress and expenditure.
  • Prepare and submit activity and progress reports.
  • Assist in archiving project documents.
  • Collaborate with communications and influencing teams.
  • Monitor the implementation of action plans with stakeholders.
  • Support the dissemination of communication products and learning.
  • Establish external networks to strengthen project implementation.
  • Maintain relationships with government institutions and schools.
  • Support learning processes at district and provincial levels.
  • Support advocacy and influencing efforts for safe school models.
  • Gather lessons learned and best practices.
  • Support finance officers and Project Managers with financial and administration documents.
  • Oversee and administer day-to-day project activities.
  • Organize and facilitate project meetings, conferences, and events.
Experience Requirements
  • At least 1 year of experience working on community development, project management.
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply with experiences in organization management.
  • Experience of implementing projects on a day-to-day basis.
  • Experience in organizing events.
  • At least 1-year experience or skills around connecting or working with young people (desirable).
  • Good Knowledge on and Practices of Safeguarding (desirable).
  • Good understanding on Fraud Awareness (desirable).
Qualification Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Social Science, preferable in Early Childhood Education, Child Development Psychology or others relevant field.
