Overview

To establish and maintain monitoring and evaluation mechanisms for NCD programmes, ensuring effective planning, implementation, and reporting.


Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain monitoring and evaluation, data collection, analysis, and dissemination mechanisms.
  • Determine data information elements for programme evaluation and strategic decision-making.
  • Adopt standardized methods for capturing and consolidating NCD interventions, documenting lessons learned and best practices.
  • Assess programme impact and effectiveness, identify gaps, and define training needs.
  • Build and strengthen national and regional capacities for programme monitoring and evaluation.
  • Conduct situation analysis and prepare biannual and annual technical reports.
  • Partner with donors and organizations for effective monitoring, reporting, and evaluation of donor-funded programmes.
  • Engage with implementing partners’ M&E counterparts and UN M&E coordination structures.
  • Be responsible for overall results-based management of PNH/DPS for grant-based projects.
Required Experience
  • At least five years relevant experience, with proven international exposure, in project monitoring and evaluation and reporting.
  • Experience in UN organizations/agencies, international institutions.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, health informatics or public administration or international development.
  • Advanced degree of public health.

Remuneration
Annual base salary starting at USD 70,212 (subject to mandatory deductions for pension contributions and health insurance, as applicable), a variable post adjustment, which reflects the cost of living in a particular duty station per month for the duty station indicated above.
