Overview
To establish and maintain monitoring and evaluation mechanisms for NCD programmes, ensuring effective planning, implementation, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain monitoring and evaluation, data collection, analysis, and dissemination mechanisms.
- Determine data information elements for programme evaluation and strategic decision-making.
- Adopt standardized methods for capturing and consolidating NCD interventions, documenting lessons learned and best practices.
- Assess programme impact and effectiveness, identify gaps, and define training needs.
- Build and strengthen national and regional capacities for programme monitoring and evaluation.
- Conduct situation analysis and prepare biannual and annual technical reports.
- Partner with donors and organizations for effective monitoring, reporting, and evaluation of donor-funded programmes.
- Engage with implementing partners’ M&E counterparts and UN M&E coordination structures.
- Be responsible for overall results-based management of PNH/DPS for grant-based projects.
Required Experience
- At least five years relevant experience, with proven international exposure, in project monitoring and evaluation and reporting.
- Experience in UN organizations/agencies, international institutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, health informatics or public administration or international development.
- Advanced degree of public health.
