Overview
The 2nd Decade of Life - Education and 1MiO Officer will provide technical, managerial, and operational functions to deliver results on UNICEF programs focused on adolescent learning opportunities, STEAM strategies, life skills development, and school-to-work transitions.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting and updating situation assessment and analysis.
- Providing technical assistance to authorities, partners, and specialists.
- Ensuring effective identification and coordination of partners' actions.
- Managerial and operational functions for program delivery.
- Supporting program design, implementation, monitoring, and reporting.
- Elaborating donor proposals and reports.
- Acting as focal point for partnerships with Implementing Partners.
- Technically supporting regional and national program teams.
- Promoting integrated and intersectoral work.
Required Experience
- Minimum 3 years of field experience in development programs with focus on social engagement of youth, youth employment and/or public education systems.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in articulating and advocating towards state and municipal governments and supporting civil society organizations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Rights, Education, Psychology, Law, International Relations, Social Work, Social Sciences, Anthropology, Communication, or another relevant field.
- Master’s degree, completed or in progress, in Human Rights, Education, Psychology, Law, International Relations, Social Work, Social Sciences, Anthropology, Communication, or another relevant field is an asset.
