Overview

Support Operational Information Management and Performance Reporting (OIM & PR) activities to establish and present a standard operating picture of WFP operations and results for informed decision-making.


Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure standard OIM & PR procedures and templates are followed.
  • Analyze programme and operational data to generate actionable insights.
  • Refine programme performance metrics.
  • Produce analytical briefs, dashboards, and visualizations.
  • Produce IM products for external communication.
  • Support donor reporting and proposal development.
  • Establish and maintain filing and archiving of programmatic documents.
  • Collate and disseminate political and humanitarian analysis.
  • Collate, analyze, and communicate essential elements of information.
  • Contribute to the implementation of the SPR Intelligent Next Generation system (SPRING).
  • Support the preparation of Standard Project Reports (SPRs).
  • Collaborate with internal and external counterparts.
  • Coordinate monthly and ad-hoc 3W/4W/5W submissions.
  • Support capacity enhancement of staff and partners.
  • Guide and supervise junior staff.
  • Contribute to identifying Corporate Performance Reporting Improvements.
  • Support drafting of OIM & PR related normative guidance.
  • Contribute to initiatives for developing improved OIM & PR.
  • Support development, implementation, and assurance of quality standards.
Required Experience
  • For master’s degree holders, at least three years of postgraduate professional experience in information management, information systems, data management, geographic information systems and mapping, and/or data visualization.
  • For a bachelor's degree holder, at least five years of indicated experience is required.
  • Experience with coordination and implementation of data collection, analysis, verification and visualization, preferably in emergency context on displacement and/or human mobility.
  • Experience in coordination with partners and authorities is an advantage.
Qualifications

University degree in Political Science, Economics, Statistics, Information Management or Journalism, Business Management, Social Sciences or another relevant field.
