Overview
Support Operational Information Management and Performance Reporting (OIM & PR) activities to establish and present a standard operating picture of WFP operations and results for informed decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure standard OIM & PR procedures and templates are followed.
- Analyze programme and operational data to generate actionable insights.
- Refine programme performance metrics.
- Produce analytical briefs, dashboards, and visualizations.
- Produce IM products for external communication.
- Support donor reporting and proposal development.
- Establish and maintain filing and archiving of programmatic documents.
- Collate and disseminate political and humanitarian analysis.
- Collate, analyze, and communicate essential elements of information.
- Contribute to the implementation of the SPR Intelligent Next Generation system (SPRING).
- Support the preparation of Standard Project Reports (SPRs).
- Collaborate with internal and external counterparts.
- Coordinate monthly and ad-hoc 3W/4W/5W submissions.
- Support capacity enhancement of staff and partners.
- Guide and supervise junior staff.
- Contribute to identifying Corporate Performance Reporting Improvements.
- Support drafting of OIM & PR related normative guidance.
- Contribute to initiatives for developing improved OIM & PR.
- Support development, implementation, and assurance of quality standards.
Required Experience
- For master’s degree holders, at least three years of postgraduate professional experience in information management, information systems, data management, geographic information systems and mapping, and/or data visualization.
- For a bachelor's degree holder, at least five years of indicated experience is required.
- Experience with coordination and implementation of data collection, analysis, verification and visualization, preferably in emergency context on displacement and/or human mobility.
- Experience in coordination with partners and authorities is an advantage.
Qualifications
University degree in Political Science, Economics, Statistics, Information Management or Journalism, Business Management, Social Sciences or another relevant field.
