Overview
The Programme Management Intern will assist the Capacity Development and Partnerships Section in promoting inclusive development and regional cooperation. The role involves supporting monitoring tools, data analysis, and outreach efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of monitoring tools and dashboards for donor profiling, visibility and outreach.
- Assist in conceptualizing and preparing data visualization products and tools, including infographics.
- Collect, compile and organize data and perform descriptive statistical analysis on technical cooperation activities, financial contributions and expenditures.
- Support data assimilation and analysis of information on development partners and South-South cooperation initiatives.
- Coordinate and work closely with colleagues in conducting research and data compilation.
- Support outreach and information dissemination efforts related to events and knowledge products.
- Assist in organizing logistics for events.
- Participate in and contribute to other day-to-day operational tasks of the section.
Required Experience
Applicants to the UN Internship Programme are not required to have professional work experience.
Qualifications
- Be enrolled in, or have completed, a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher).
- OR be enrolled in, or have completed, the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum bachelor’s degree or equivalent).
- Applicants must be a student in the final year of the first university degree (bachelor or equivalent), Master’s or Ph.D. Programme or equivalent, or have completed a Bachelor’s, Master’s or PH.D. Programme.
- Applicants must be proficient in using digital tools and platforms (e.g., MS Office Suite, collaboration tools, social media, and AI applications).
