Overview
The Summer Intern - Programme Management (Digital Cooperation) will support key areas related to the Global Digital Compact, Digital Public Infrastructure, Digital Transformation, and Artificial Intelligence governance within the United Nations Office for Digital and Emerging Technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- - Contribute to the preparation of technical briefs, background notes, and other materials.
- - Support the planning and implementation of high-level multi-stakeholder events.
- - Assist in the organization of meetings, consultations, and multi-stakeholder dialogues.
- - Monitor developments related to the implementation of the Global Digital Compact.
- - Support the development of apps, websites, and workflows.
- - Assist in preparing datasets, models, surveys, and conducting statistical analysis.
- - Support data mining, performance metrics development, and text analysis.
- - Conduct research and analysis on digital cooperation and emerging technology issues.
Required Experience
No working experience is required.
Qualifications
- Applicants must meet one of the following requirements:
- - Be enrolled in a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher);
- - Be enrolled in the FINAL academic year of a university degree programme (minimum Bachelor's level or equivalent);
- - Have graduated with a university degree as defined in (1) and (2).
- Preferably in the area of Business Administration, Public Administration, Public Policy, Computer Science, Data Science, International Relations, Law, Economics, Engineering, Machine Learning, Information Systems, Digital Transformation, or related fields.
