Overview
The intern will assist WFP Ethiopia in developing multi-media materials and packages targeting WFP’s key audiences. The role supports the communications officer and digital communications and advocacy officer.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development of communication materials, including social media posts, stories, and visuals.
- Assist in collecting field content—photos, quotes, stories, and testimonials—for communication and reporting purposes.
- Help draft content for WFP Ethiopia digital platforms under supervision.
- Assist in maintaining consistency in branding and messaging across products.
- Assist in coordinating with vendors, designers, and printers where needed.
- Provide digital communications administrative support such as scheduling posts, uploading to WFP’s multimedia hub, social media monitoring and follow-ups.
- Carry out any other communication‑related support requested by the supervisor.
Required Experience
Eligibility for internship requires being currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program, or being a recent graduate within six months of application. Specific fields of study mentioned are communications, journalism, or other relevant fields. Candidates should have attended classes in the past 12 months.
