Overview
The Project Field Coordinator will lead the implementation of project activities at the provincial level, ensuring alignment with UN Women programme priorities and work plans, and contributing to the achievement of expected outcomes and outputs.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation of project activities at the provincial level.
- Ensure the timely and effective implementation of all project activities.
- Coordinate and oversee UN Women project interventions.
- Maintain regular communication with implementing partners and stakeholders.
- Provide technical guidance and operational support to implementing partners.
- Serve as the UN Women focal point for programme implementation.
- Follow up regularly with national experts and consultants.
- Provide administrative and operational support.
- Conduct systematic monitoring and reporting on project implementation.
- Contribute to the preparation of quarterly/annual progress and financial reports.
- Provide inputs to donor report(s).
- Maintain close communication with project beneficiaries and partners.
- Contribute to synthesizing and documenting project activities, success stories and lessons learned.
- Support field research.
- Provide substantive inputs to building partnerships and resource mobilization.
- Contribute to and participate in project assessments/evaluations.
- Ensure continuous coordination among project partners, government institutions, and stakeholders.
- Strengthen collaboration with local authorities, civil society organizations, and community actors.
- Provide inputs to partnership development and resource mobilization efforts.
- Promote coordination and complementarity between UN Women programme and other initiatives.
Required Experience
- Progressively responsible experience at the national or provincial level in managing complex and multi-component programme interventions in crisis/conflict-affected areas with national, provincial, and district partners, preferably related to a thematic area.
- Experience in coordinating, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating humanitarian and development programmes.
- Relevant experience at the national and/or international level with humanitarian action, young women's economic empowerment, and leadership programmes and projects, including experience in the design, management, monitoring, and evaluation of thematic and multi-stakeholder development programmes.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience working on humanitarian and development issues, preferably related to women's rights and gender equality.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Rural development, economics, business administration, development studies, project management, international relations, gender and human rights-related disciplines, social sciences, or related field.
