Overview
Support projects in Southeast Asia and Pacific Island Countries by managing Multilateral Fund Projects, preparing reports, and providing technical and policy assistance.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain regular communications with National Ozone Officers for project planning, implementation, and follow-up.
- Develop scope of work for non-government partners and Terms of Reference for consultants.
- Liaise with and monitor performance of non-government partners and consultants.
- Prepare progress reports and Project Completion Reports for Multilateral Fund projects.
- Provide technical and policy assistance to countries for project implementation.
- Prepare Project Cooperation Agreements, Small Scale Funding Agreements, and UN to UN Transfer Agreements.
- Support innovation in project and knowledge management.
Required Experience
- At least 3 years of professional work experience at the national and/or international level in project planning, implementation, management or monitoring or other relevant programmes.
- Experience with developing report, capacity building, policy settings and legislation system is an asset.
- Experience working in the UN or other international development organization is an asset.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Science, engineer, environment, policies or chemical or area related to law.
- A first-level university degree or equivalent in combination with relevant training and/or professional experience may be accepted in lieu of an advanced university degree.
