Overview
The purpose of this assignment is to enhance the engagement and management of global multi-generational families by developing and implementing strategic initiatives, communication strategies, and events that align with UNICEF’s philanthropic goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the design and implementation of programs that engage philanthropic families across multiple generations, focusing on developing opportunities tailored to specific age groups and those generations currently without engagement plans.
- Design and implement effective communication strategies for family philanthropic engagement.
- Plan and deliver high-impact events, designed to create meaningful experiences for current and prospective donor families.
Required Experience
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in fundraising/resource mobilization, and/or external relations is required.
- Experience in major gift portfolio management and 1M+ solicitation is required.
- Experience in conceptualizing and developing donor engagement strategies and/or contents is required.
- Experience in convening global events is required.
- Access to and experience of engaging in global/regional philanthropic networks is an asset.
- Knowledge of the UN system and familiarity with UNICEF programme activities are considered an asset.
- Experience working with the UN is an asset.
Qualifications
- An advanced University Degree in one of the following fields is required: Fundraising/Philanthropy, Communication, Marketing, International Relations, International Development, Business, Social Sciences, or a related area.
- Alternatively, a first-level university degree in a relevant field combined with two additional years of qualified professional experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.
