Overview
Provide technical and operational support for IT network maintenance and upgrade works, including LAN & WLAN installations, configurations, and troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities
- Support installation, configuration, and testing of wireless access points and LAN equipment.
- Assist in upgrading network infrastructure components.
- Conduct site surveys and signal strength analysis.
- Document configurations, device placements, and test results.
- Diagnose and resolve connectivity issues, bandwidth bottlenecks, and device configuration errors.
- Support review and maintenance of firewall rules.
- Document observed security risks, incidents, and responses.
- Monitor network performance and contribute to performance reports.
- Support routine maintenance tasks, including firmware and software updates.
- Maintain network topology diagrams and device inventories.
- Assist in reviewing security policies and compliance status.
- Support evaluation of security considerations for field devices.
- Provide general ICT support for other projects.
- Assist with preparation of technical documentation and user guides.
- Participate in team meetings and knowledge-sharing activities.
- Support asset management and network equipment inventory updates.
