Special Class Instructors

Overview

The United Nations Office at Nairobi (UNON) is seeking Special Class Instructors to provide specialized support services to ensure the smooth functioning of the UN Wellness Centre. The role involves teaching various fitness classes and designing programs for members and guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing outreach initiatives, marketing materials, schedules, and Wellness content.
• Teach special classes including Zumba / Aqua Zumba, Salsa, Rhumba, Yoga, Spin, Taekwondo, Pilates, Aerobics, Cross-fit, Acapella, Barre, Aqua Aerobics.
• Prepare exercise classes and ensure studio/Aerobics rooms are clean and ready for client use.
• Promote fitness classes to members and non-members.
• Maintain a client database or profile.
• Advise clients on health and fitness related matters.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Required Experience

A minimum of 1 year experience from a reputable organization/setting is required in teaching Zumba / Aqua Zumba, Salsa, Rhumba, Yoga, Taekwondo, Pilates, Aerobics, Cross-fit, Acapella, Barre, Aqua Aerobics and any other.

Qualifications

High School Certificate is required. Certificate in Zumba / Aqua Zumba, Salsa, Rhumba, Yoga, Spin, Taekwondo, Pilates, Aerobics, Cross-fit, Acapella, Barre, Aqua Aerobics is required. Qualifications and knowledge of fitness and products and equipment is required.
