Overview

Provide tailored technical assistance and substantive support to project implementation for infrastructure asset management in The Federated States of Micronesia.


Key Responsibilities
  • Design and co-implement an online awareness-raising workshop on infrastructure asset management.
  • Conduct diagnostic and training missions to local governments, applying the UN IAM diagnostic tool and preparing Asset Management Profiles.
  • Provide substantive input to training content preparation and co-facilitate an in-person AMAP workshop.
Required Experience

Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in infrastructure, infrastructure asset management (IAM), or urban development, with demonstrated expertise in areas such as asset inventories, lifecycle planning, service delivery, public sector investment planning, or institutional capacity development is required. Knowledge of The Federated States of Micronesia’s public sector and infrastructure systems is required.

Qualifications

Advanced degree in engineering, business, project management, public administration, urban planning, economics, or related field is required.

Excellent oral and written communication skills in English is required.
Languages Preferred
Familiarity with The Federated States of Micronesia’s public sector and infrastructure systems is required. Familiarity with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and UN IAM tools is desirable. Familiarity with global asset management standards and geographic information systems (GIS) is desirable.
