Overview

To document and give visibility to multisectoral responses delivered by UNICEF, producing editorial content for donors and increasing visibility.


Key Responsibilities
  • Produce editorial content including human interest stories, photos, and videos.
  • Deliver three packages of content monthly, selecting from human interest story packages or video packages.
  • Ensure content complies with UNICEF ethical standards and includes documented consent.
  • Conduct desk review of donor visibility best practices and propose creative content creation.
  • Map donor visibility requirements and propose a production calendar.
Required Experience
  • Minimum of two years of progressively responsible professional experience in English writing, journalism, communication, public relations or other related field.
  • Experience with writing stories/articles and ability to take photos and videos suitable for website and/or social media publication.
  • Experience in video editing.
  • Myanmar national, able to travel within the country.
  • Experience working with NGOs or UN agencies is a strong asset.
  • Previous experience reporting and writing on UN programmes would be an advantage.
  • Relevant experience at country level, particularly in development, fragile settings and humanitarian contexts.
Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, Humanities, Natural Sciences, or Formal/Applied Sciences or any other related field
