Overview

Interns will support the work of the Administrative Tribunal or the Office of Legal Affairs, focusing on legal research, drafting legal memoranda, and attending meetings.


Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in daily activities and proceedings of the Tribunal, including assisting to its sessions.
  • Conduct legal research.
  • Attend and write reports of meetings.
  • Be assigned specific projects to be conducted independently.
  • Draft legal memoranda.
  • Draft speaking points for the Director of the Office of Legal Affairs.
  • Contribute to articles drafted by the team.
  • Attend meetings of Allies, including the North Atlantic Council and subordinate committees.
  • Assist in preparations for meetings of Allies’ legal advisers.
Required Experience

• Previous experience with other international organizations, national administration, research or industry.

Qualifications

• At least a Bachelor's degree in law.

Other Details
Languages Required
• Proficiency in one of the two official NATO languages (English/French).
Languages Preferred
• Elementary knowledge of the second official NATO language (English/French).
Contract Duration
• 6-month traineeship
Work Modality
• Teleworking subject to business requirements.
Remuneration
• Monthly grant of 1,334.96 €. • Travel reimbursement upon joining and leaving the organisation.
