Consultant to support reporting for the PCCP Project in the Caribbean and deliver capacity building workshops on Trafficking in Persons and Smuggling of Migrants.
2 years of experience in the area of trafficking in persons and smuggling of migrants is required. Experience with organizing capacity-building activities in gender and human rights or a directly related field is required. Experience in development of research papers on relevant gender and human rights areas and training needs assessments is desirable. Demonstrated knowledge of gender and human rights, the UNODC mandate, and the Latin American and Caribbean regions is desirable. Excellent planning and organizing skills are desirable. Work experience within the United Nations system or a similar international organization is desirable. Good command of Microsoft office tools, as well as other research and analysis methodologies and tools is desirable.
An advanced university degree (master’s degree or equivalent) in the fields of law, business administration, international business, political science, international relations, human rights, or related fields, is required. A first level university degree in similar fields in combination with two additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.
