Overview
The UNV Project M&E Associate will support the full implementation of project monitoring and evaluation functions under the direct supervision of the Project Manager and technical guidance of the RBM Analyst.
Key Responsibilities
- Support implementation of the Project M&E Plan.
- Collect, verify, and maintain baseline and periodic indicator data.
- Conduct regular field monitoring visits.
- Compile quantitative and qualitative monitoring findings.
- Support data analysis.
- Maintain the Indicator Tracking Table (ITT).
- Support timely preparation of evidence for audits.
- Ensure project compliance with UNDP RBM minimum standards.
- Support project managers in ensuring complete and up-to-date information in Quantum/Quantum+.
- Maintain the project’s M&E archive.
- Support design and implementation of surveys, focus group discussions (FGDs), key informant interviews (KIIs), and other assessment tools.
- Assist in preparing TORs, reviewing deliverables, and gathering evidence required for evaluation missions.
- Support documenting lessons learned, case studies, and good practices.
- Act as secretariat for the project Grievance Response Mechanism (GRM).
- Support monitoring of social and environmental safeguards.
- Facilitate internal learning.
- Perform any other M&E-related tasks assigned.
Required Experience
3 years of relevant experience in M&E, quantitative and qualitative data collection, and performance reporting.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business or Public Administration, Economics and Social Sciences or any field with relevant M&E, RBM and programme support experience.
