Overview

The UNV Project M&E Associate will support the full implementation of project monitoring and evaluation functions under the direct supervision of the Project Manager and technical guidance of the RBM Analyst.


Key Responsibilities
  • Support implementation of the Project M&E Plan.
  • Collect, verify, and maintain baseline and periodic indicator data.
  • Conduct regular field monitoring visits.
  • Compile quantitative and qualitative monitoring findings.
  • Support data analysis.
  • Maintain the Indicator Tracking Table (ITT).
  • Support timely preparation of evidence for audits.
  • Ensure project compliance with UNDP RBM minimum standards.
  • Support project managers in ensuring complete and up-to-date information in Quantum/Quantum+.
  • Maintain the project’s M&E archive.
  • Support design and implementation of surveys, focus group discussions (FGDs), key informant interviews (KIIs), and other assessment tools.
  • Assist in preparing TORs, reviewing deliverables, and gathering evidence required for evaluation missions.
  • Support documenting lessons learned, case studies, and good practices.
  • Act as secretariat for the project Grievance Response Mechanism (GRM).
  • Support monitoring of social and environmental safeguards.
  • Facilitate internal learning.
  • Perform any other M&E-related tasks assigned.
Required Experience

3 years of relevant experience in M&E, quantitative and qualitative data collection, and performance reporting.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business or Public Administration, Economics and Social Sciences or any field with relevant M&E, RBM and programme support experience.

Remuneration
A Volunteer Living Allowance (VLA) of IL6251 is provided monthly to cover housing, utilities and normal cost of living expenses. Life, health and permanent disability insurance are included (health insurance for up to 3 dependents), as well as Exit allowance for satisfactory service.
