Overview

Provide proactive secretarial and administrative support to the Director and the Directorate at large.


Key Responsibilities
  • Co-ordinate and liaise with the units to ensure an efficient and structured workflow within the Directorate.
  • Manage, allocate and ensure the timely delivery of the briefings for the Director, the Director-General and the cabinet.
  • Manage, allocate and ensure the follow-up of access to document requests attributed to the Directorate.
  • Manage, attribute and ensure the follow-up of the parliamentary questions and inter-service consultations under the responsibility of the Directorate.
  • Monitor and co-ordinate HR and logistics matter.
  • Oversee and coordinate the Director's agenda/calendar (meetings and missions).
  • Ensure the monitoring and fulfilment of the administrative established procedures in the Directorate.
  • Verify the missions, declarations of costs, the financial commitments and figures submitted to the Director.
Required Experience

A good knowledge of the administrative procedures of the Commission and related IT-tools (ARES, BASIS, MIPS, Sysper, Decide…) is required.

A good command of French would also be a plus.
