Overview
Provide technical advice and guidance on education system capacity and transformation in the Pacific, supporting the development and revision of strategies, programmes, and policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic technical advice and guidance on education system capacity linked to transformation, including data use, risk-informed planning, and quality assurance.
- Support Mid-Term Review (MTR) processes of Partnership Compacts and Global Partnership for Education (GPE) related processes.
- Provide technical advice on education system transformation programme design, implementation, monitoring, and review.
- Offer technical support to specific countries on System Capacity, including planning and overseeing education services.
- Provide technical leadership and support for regional partnerships, fora, workshops, and Pacific-Pacific collaboration.
Required Experience
- A minimum of ten years of senior professional experience in strategic programme and sector analysis planning, management, and/or research within the field of education.
- Experience working in education in the Pacific required.
- Familiarity with UN and government systems.
Qualifications
• An advanced university degree (masters) in education, economics, psychology, sociology, public policy or another relevant technical field.
