Overview
The Partnerships Officer supports UNICEF’s engagement with various stakeholders by contributing to partnership development, coordination, research, proposal preparation, reporting, and administrative management. This role strengthens resource mobilization efforts and supports the country office’s private sector engagement strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and evaluate potential partners' patterns.
- Develop partner summaries, analytical briefs, and landscape assessments.
- Facilitate early-stage contact activities.
- Track potential partner pipeline and monitor engagement status.
- Support individual giving initiatives and Foundations Task Force.
- Assist in developing concept papers, funding proposals, and donor briefings.
- Collect and verify programme information and data.
- Facilitate continued partner engagement through communication and coordination.
- Assist with organizing meetings, site visits, events, and visibility initiatives.
- Prepare standard communications and acknowledgment letters.
- Monitor and ensure fulfilment of partner agreements and reporting deadlines.
- Support donor and partner report preparation.
- Track agreement obligations and ensure adherence to protocols.
- Help monitor partnership outcomes and implementation status.
- Keep thorough records for audit and accountability requirements.
- Update partner information in UNICEF's Partnerships Management Portal (UNISON).
- Contribute to internal data gathering and performance dashboards.
- Maintain organized digital filing systems.
- Support due diligence processes and record maintenance.
- Coordinate with programme teams, Communication, Supply, and Finance.
- Support communication and programme teams in preparing content for partner visibility.
- Contribute to internal meetings and strategy discussions.
- Support capacity-building initiatives and internal awareness of UNICEF’s Business for Results (B4R) approach.
