Overview
The consultant will facilitate the implementation of capacity building trainings and sensitisation sessions, mobilize project beneficiaries, and coordinate trade fairs and exhibition activities within Nzara county.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate the implementation of capacity building trainings and sensitisation sessions on market and product development, quality and standards, and market linkages.
- Mobilize project beneficiaries and coordinate trade fairs and exhibition activities within Nzara county.
- Monitor, compile and report data and information on progress of implementation ITC activities in Nzara.
- Conduct periodic result monitoring surveys and compile data (disaggregated data by age, sex, gender, product sector and location) on progress of activity, output and outcome achievements.
- Compile and maintain a comprehensive database of Nzara level project beneficiaries, data disaggregated by location, product sector, gender, age, and disability.
- Identify, track, capture data and report on potential project implementation risks affecting ITC interventions at Nzara level.
- Facilitate ITC project interventions and field missions to Nzara.
- Participate at county-level project monitoring and evaluation and interagency consultative meetings.
- Participate and report on monthly project implementation progress meetings.
Required Experience
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in business operations, coordination or management.
- Previous experience in conducting survey and data analysis.
Qualifications
- An undergraduate university degree in agricultural sciences, development, environmental science, economics or other relevant field.
- Extensive relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of the university degree.
