Overview
The Gaza Awards Officer will provide administrative and operational support for the effective management of donor-funded projects, assisting in coordinating project activities, compiling reports, and ensuring compliance with donor requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Award Manager in coordinating project meetings, workshops, and events.
- Schedule appointments, arrange travel logistics, and prepare meeting materials.
- Maintain electronic and hard-copy filing systems for project documentation.
- Compile and organize data for project reports, including narrative and financial updates.
- Assist in the preparation and submission of timely and accurate reports to donors.
- Ensure proper documentation of project activities.
- Serve as a liaison between project teams, partners, and stakeholders.
- Maintain regular contact with project staff and partners to collect updates.
- Coordinate with internal departments for smooth project implementation.
- Support monitoring of compliance with donor regulations and project agreements.
- Assist in tracking project expenditures and budgets.
- Alert the Award Manager to potential compliance issues.
- Participate in training sessions on award management and donor compliance.
- Provide support and guidance to project staff on administrative procedures.
- Conduct quality checks on project reports and documentation for partner agreements.
Required Experience
- 3+ years of previous experience in administrative support, project coordination, or grants management.
- Preferably in the nonprofit sector or international development context.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in International Development, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
