Overview
The Early Recovery Assistant Monitor will be responsible for community mobilization, data collection, and reporting to support project implementation at the community level.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out effective mobilization & sensitization of community & other key stakeholders on project implementation strategies
- Provide support to the Early Recovery team in developing and implementing program strategies
- Ensure successful implementation to completion of project activities at community level
- Collect accurate field data on activities, outputs, and outcomes
- Provide timely and accurate reports to the Early Recovery team and stakeholders
- Identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations to enhance program effectiveness
- Collaborate with partners and stakeholders to ensure coordination and coherence of early recovery efforts
- Support capacity building of partners and stakeholders on early recovery principles and practices
- Provide effective training, support & supervision to relief committee on roles and responsibilities
- Transparently facilitate the identification, registration and review of project beneficiaries
- Ensure that project accountability systems at community level are implemented and properly documented
- Participate in gathering and compiling of project information
- Prepare reports to the Distribution Team Leader as required
- Gather security information and incident reporting for security management
- Gather food security information to enable food security monitoring
- Keep beneficiaries, local government representatives, local authorities and other stakeholders informed about Oxfam’s programme
- Be familiar with and abide by the NGO/Red Cross Code of Conduct, the People in Aid Code, SPHERE principles and Oxfam International procedures and other regulatory codes
Qualifications
• Relevant degree or diploma and or professional qualifications in Agriculture and Community Studies and Rural Development.
