- Ensure rigorous maintenance of procurement-related records, inventories, and supplier information, ensuring data integrity and timely reporting.
- Support coordination with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, logistics providers, and WFP units, to facilitate smooth supply chain operations.
- Support the implementation of procurement strategies, contributing to the cost-effective and timely delivery of goods and services.
- Prepare and process various administrative documents, reports, and correspondence related to procurement activities.
- Participate in the identification and selection of qualified suppliers, contributing to effective partnership management.
- Anticipate and resolve potential procurement issues or delays, adopting a results-oriented approach.
- Contribute to the monitoring and evaluation of the procurement unit's performance, providing data and analysis to support strategy and continuous improvement.
- Provide administrative support to unit members.
Required Experience
Minimum of four (4) years of relevant professional experience at increasingly higher levels of responsibility, with at least 2 years in the supply chain field (Procurement, logistics).
Qualifications
Secondary school diploma and post-secondary training in the relevant functional area (Procurement, Supply Chain, Logistics, Management).
