Overview
The Cultural Producer will support the implementation of a project focused on improving water and sanitation services, ensuring culturally relevant and community-centered approaches. The role involves developing communication strategies, creating content, and engaging with schools and local stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the design and implementation of communication, awareness-raising, and visibility campaigns.
- Develop creative content and storytelling strategies.
- Identify, approach, and engage schools in target areas.
- Coordinate with school representatives to co-create and implement educational and cultural activities.
- Organize and facilitate practical activities and field visits with participating schools.
- Liaise with local stakeholders, artists, educators, and community leaders.
- Document and systematize insights from focus groups and participatory sessions.
- Lead the preparation of the “Voices of the Community” report.
- Analyze and present key findings related to water consumption factors.
- Ensure outputs align with UN-Habitat communication standards and project objectives.
- Contribute to monitoring and reporting on engagement activities.
- Prepare and deliver a presentation of results.
- Attend meetings and conferences promoted by partners.
- Undertake other duties within the incumbent's expertise.
Required Experience
- A minimum of four (4) years of experience in cultural production is required.
- Experience in project management is desirable.
- Experience with water and sanitation is desirable.
- Previous experience working in the United Nations is desirable.
Qualifications
• Bachelor in Communications, Social Production or related fields is required, or additional three (3) years of relevant experience to the post, beyond the requirement.
