Overview
The intern will support the Biodiversity Finance Working Group by conducting research, monitoring publications, drafting materials, and providing administrative and communications support.
Key Responsibilities
- Support methodological research and analysis on nature and finance-related themes, focusing on metrics, indicators, and data.
- Assist in monitoring academic publications and converting them into digestible highlights.
- Assist in drafting targeted presentations, briefing notes, and speaking points.
- Provide coordination, administrative, and communications support for the working group's operations.
- Liaise with relevant in-house and external partners.
- Attend relevant meetings, trainings, and conferences in Geneva.
- Perform other relevant duties as assigned.
Required Experience
Applicants to the UN Internship Programme are not required to have professional work experience. A field of study that is closely related to the type of internship that you are applying for is required.
Qualifications
- Be enrolled in a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher) preferably in a relevant domain and experience with AI tools or technologies is required.
- Be enrolled in the final academic year of a first university degree program (minimum Bachelor's level or equivalent).
- Have graduated with a university degree.
- Applicants must be a student in the final year of the first university degree (bachelor or equivalent), Master’s or Ph.D. Programme or equivalent, or have completed a Bachelor’s, Master’s or PH.D. Programme.
