Overview
The Senior Information Management Associate will support the management and implementation of information management initiatives for the Migration Policy and Sustainable Development Unit.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with stakeholders for software system plans.
- Review business processes and recommend improvements.
- Assist in preparing and reviewing business requirements and technical documentation.
- Track IT project deliverables, timelines, and budgets.
- Provide user support and troubleshoot software application issues.
- Participate in meetings and workshops related to digital transformation.
- Support the organization and documentation of requirement workshops and testing.
- Document impacts of new features and system enhancements.
- Support the implementation of information management systems.
Required Experience
- High school diploma with seven years of professional experience; or, Bachelor’s degree with five years of professional experience.
- Experience in IT support, information management, or digital systems in a programme environment.
- Experience in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and software quality assurance processes.
- Hands-on experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
- Experience supporting the development and maintenance of databases and dashboards for development or humanitarian projects.
- Proficiency with project management and tracking tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
- Experience in writing user stories, use cases, and process documentation is desirable.
Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field.
- Professional certifications in database management, networking, or system administration are desirable.
