Overview
Provide technical guidance and advice to implement activities under the livelihoods portfolio, conduct assessments, and support the identification and selection of individuals for livelihoods assistance.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical guidance to staff to implement activities under the livelihoods portfolio.
- Advise and guide the regional team to conduct livelihoods assessments.
- Assist in the identification and selection of individuals for livelihoods assistance.
- Identify partners and create opportunities with local authorities and associations.
- Facilitate orientation meetings, business trainings, and counseling.
- Monitor individuals who have received IOM livelihoods assistance.
- Quality check data and service delivery.
- Organize and conduct satisfaction and feedback surveys.
- Develop and maintain internal control and compliance processes.
- Support field teams to mainstream gender, disability, protection, and other cross-cutting issues.
- Document and provide feedback on updated changes in livelihoods SOPs and guidelines.
Required Experience
- University or Bachellor’s degree in Social Sciences, Business Management with professional experience of at least four (4) years, or, High school degree in the above fields or related field from an accredited academic institution with six (6) years of relevant professional experience; or, equivalent combination of relevant training with practical experience in relevant projects.
- Experience training and facilitating workshops on livelihoods and social cohesion.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Livelihoods/Community Revitalization though a gender point and experience with international organizations is an advantage.
Qualifications
- University or Bachellor’s degree in Social Sciences, Business Management.
- High school degree in Social Sciences, Business Management or related field from an accredited academic institution.
- equivalent combination of relevant training with practical experience in relevant projects.
