Overview
The Junior Cyber Security Engineer will support cyber implementation projects, involving requirement generation and the development of project proposals. The role also includes performing site surveys and interacting with industry for cyber solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Work under the direction of the Design& Implementation SDM on Cyber implementation projects, involving the generation of requirements, use cases, work flow diagrams and other systems engineering artefacts;
- Work within a hybrid team under the guidance of a Project Technical Lead on the development of Price or Project Proposals for implementation activities;
- Perform site surveys and inventory activities to understand ‘as is’ state of various CIS environments;
- Interact with industry to understand state of the art and industrial solutions for application to NCIA cyber projects, possibly in coordination with the Solutions & Roadmaps (S&R) section.
Required Experience
- Up to 1 years post-related experience;
- Demonstrable experience and interest in cyber security. This could be based on experience during an internship (or other work experience) and/or the research work in cyber security related topics for a Bachelor’s or Master’s thesis.
Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree at a nationally recognised/certified University in a related discipline
