Overview
Provides HR services to a global client base, reporting to a Human Resources Officer/Head. Responsibilities include recruitment, administration of entitlements, staff development support, and classification assistance.
Key Responsibilities
- Participates in candidate selection for secretarial, clerical, and related positions.
- Assists in filling posts, initiating reference checks, and preparing offers of appointment.
- Organizes and coordinates competitive recruitment examinations.
- Oversees maintenance of vacancy announcement files.
- Reviews and processes personnel actions.
- Advises staff on visa matters.
- Reviews and processes requests for entitlements and claims.
- Maintains IMIS entitlements reference tables.
- Assists in the organization and conducts of training courses and workshops.
- Provides logistics and administrative support to trainers.
- Assists in reviewing and processing requests for classification.
- Provides advice on classification procedures.
- Conducts exit interviews for separating staff.
- Maintains HR related automated systems and prepares periodic reports.
- Undertakes research on HR related issues and assists in report preparation.
- Provides general office support services, processes correspondence, performs budget monitoring, and sets up/maintains files.
- Prepares written responses to HR queries.
- Trains and provides supervision to new and lower-level staff.
- Performs other duties as required.
Required Experience
- A minimum of seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in human resources management, administrative services or related area is required. The minimum years of relevant experience is reduced to five (5) for candidates who possess a first-level university degree or higher.
- A minimum of two years of experience with multiple Human Resources modules of an ERP system is required.
- Experience providing HR support for clients in both HQ and field offices is required.
- 1 year or more of experience in data analytics or related area is desirable.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
