Conducts studies, research, analyses, and surveys to address policies and levels relating to salaries, allowances, and benefits for United Nations common system staff. Develops proposals and drafts documentation for submission to the Commission.
A minimum of seven years of progressively responsible experience is required, at least 5 of which should have been gained in an international environment, and in the development and assessment of salary and/or compensation systems. Experience in the multilateral review of expatriate compensation is desirable. Sound knowledge of salary mechanism in comparator organizations is desirable.
Advanced university degree (Master's degree or equivalent) in management, finance, social sciences, international relations, business administration or a related area is required. A first-level university degree in combination with two additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.
