Overview
Internship positions within the Information and Communication Technology Service (ICTS) at UNOG, focusing on areas such as Data Analytics, Data Strategy, Outreach and Communications, Application Development, Drupal Containerization, Communications/Knowledge Management/Business Intelligence/Digital Licensing, and Information Security.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development of corporate visualization solutions and data models.
- Build interactive dashboards and reports.
- Perform ad-hoc analysis and present results.
- Support the implementation of the Secretary-General's Data Strategy.
- Coordinate with stakeholders and support data training activities.
- Assist with the development and maintenance of applications and websites.
- Support the containerization of Drupal-based web applications.
- Draft, edit, and format internal communication materials.
- Support knowledge management activities and business intelligence dashboards.
- Assist in the administration of Adobe enterprise licensing.
- Support security assessment activities, including network, application, and host/endpoint security.
- Prepare summaries and reports of assessment activities.
Required Experience
Applicants to the UN Internship programme are not required to have professional work experience.
Qualifications
- Be enrolled in, or have completed, a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher).
- OR be enrolled in, or have completed, the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum bachelor's level or equivalent).
- Pursuing or have pursued a degree in Information Systems, Information Management, Computer Science, Communications, Data Science, Business Intelligence, Digital Media, Administration, Business, or International Relations.
