Provide technical assistance for the development of Healthcare Waste Management Policy, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Implementation Plan and training manual for Tuvalu MoHSW, and conduct a detailed Healthcare Waste Management Assessment at Princess Margaret Hospital (PMH).
Demonstrated skills and at least 5 to 10 years of experience in Environmental Health/Environmental Engineering, Healthcare Waste Management, Policy Development, Strategic Planning or related fields. Proven track record in Healthcare Waste Management, Environmental Health, Policy Development, and Assessments at the Facility Level, preferably in the Pacific. Experience in developing adult-centered learning tools and delivering training. Overall competence in working within a public sector setting.
University degree in environmental health, Sanitary Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Public Health, or related fields. Desirable: An advanced degree (master’s) in environmental health, Sanitary Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Public Health, or related fields.
