Overview
Provide operational support to the Mindanao Operations Officer in various functional areas, contributing to practical and cost-effective solutions for UNICEF Philippines.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide operational support in budget, financial management and reporting, facilities management, administration, supply and logistics management, ICT, HR, and safety and security.
- Support the identification of operational and business needs and contribute to cost-effective solutions.
- Support ICT management, information security, and controls.
- Support supply and logistics strategies and interventions.
- Support the management of office premises and facilities.
- Facilitate business transactions from a perspective of efficiency, performance, risk management, and fraud prevention.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience in operations, administration, finance, logistics, procurement, ICT support, or related fields.
- Ability to work effectively and adapt in a challenging and multicultural environment, with both national and international staff.
- Solid overall computer literacy, including proficiency in various MS Office applications (Excel, Word, etc.) and email/internet; familiarity with database management; and office technology equipment.
- Self-motivated, ability to work with minimal supervision and under tight deadlines.
- Desirable: valid national driver’s license and proven ability to drive manual gear 4x4 in difficult terrain.
- Sound security awareness.
- Interest in or affinity with UNICEF’s mandate, volunteerism, and the UN system.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in or equivalent in Business management, Financial management, Accounting, Public Finance and related operations function (Supply Chain, Human Resources, Information Technology, International Business, Project management, etc.).
- University degree in Medicine, Public Health, or any other fields relevant to Operations.
- Post-graduate degree on any of the related fields is an advantage.
