Overview
Provides administrative, procedural, and operational support to the efficient delivery of strategic HRBP support to internal and external stakeholders in line with UNICEF people and culture agenda.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Strategic HR Business Partner in delivering key People & Culture priorities, including workforce planning, organizational development, change management, staff engagement, and learning effectiveness.
- Facilitate strategic HRBP engagements by coordinating inputs, tracking actions, and supporting effective communication with sections and field offices.
- Contribute to change management initiatives by supporting implementation of P&C processes and strengthening client understanding and adoption.
- Support staff engagement, well-being, and recognition initiatives, including activities under the GSS Action Plan and Cultural Improvement Committee.
- Compile, analyze, and maintain HR data and dashboards to generate insights for decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Ensure data accuracy and support quality assurance of HR information systems and reporting tools.
- Support the preparation and implementation of the Whole Office Learning Plan and Individual Learning Plans in coordination with the HR Specialist.
- Research, compile, and maintain information on external training opportunities and learning providers to support identification of learning solutions.
- Assists team in organizing and conducting courses, workshops and events by participating in exercises which aim to build capacity of stakeholders.
- Prepares and circulates internal and external advertisements.
- Liaises with candidates in the various stages of the recruitment process.
- Prepares formal acknowledgement, offer and regret letters.
- Initiates and follows up on reference checks and academic verifications, and ensuring the completion of other background checks.
- Monitors life-cycle of recruitment process to update supervisor as necessary.
Required Experience
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in HR, organizational development, or data analysis.
- Proficiency in MS Office and digital tools (data analysis and presentation).
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret and present data clearly.
- Good organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, including drafting clear and concise correspondence.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business/Public Administration, Psychology, or related field.
