Overview

Support UNICEF Togo in strengthening and expanding public partnerships through engagement with bilateral donors, multilateral organizations, UN agencies, and other public sector partners.


Key Responsibilities
  • Support the implementation of the work plan for assigned areas to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of results.
  • Assist in building and maintaining UNICEF’s partnerships by supporting the implementation of standards and guidance.
  • Maintain up-to-date information on partner and income trends, and analyze development assistance policies.
  • Track partner reporting requirements and maintain a system for monitoring relevant documents.
  • Draft and conduct first-round quality assurance of donor reports and visibility/communications materials.
  • Draft and conduct first-round quality assurance of donor proposals.
  • Help maintain effective relationships with member states, UN agencies, NGOs, host government, and other partners.
  • Contribute ideas for developing new and existing synergies with other UN agencies.
  • Assist with the preparation of information on program strategy, design, relevance, and impact.
  • Gather inputs for inter-governmental/inter-agency work to ensure UNICEF positions are considered.
  • Undertake any other tasks assigned by the Partnerships Officer or Senior Management.
Required Experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in social sciences, international relations, partnerships, international development, or a related field.
  • Experience in partnership building, advocacy, external communication, project management, event planning, data collection, or related fields.
  • Experience of working in an international and intercultural context.
  • Familiarity with networking and advocacy.
  • Experience with volunteerism is an asset.
  • Experience in creating external outreach materials is desirable.
  • Solid overall computer literacy, including proficiency in various MS Office applications (Excel, Word, etc.), familiarity with database management and office technology equipment.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in social sciences, international relations, partnerships, international development, or a related field.

Remuneration
Travel to the duty station (where applicable) and a settling-in allowance will be provided if the duty station is not within a reasonable distance of the place of recruitment. The applicable volunteer living allowance is paid monthly to cover accommodation, utilities and normal living expenses. Life, health and permanent disability insurance is included (health insurance for up to 3 dependents), as well as final repatriation (where applicable) and resettlement allowance for satisfactory service. In addition, in non-family duty stations that fall into hardship categories D or E, as classified by ICSC, a welfare differential (WBD) will be provided monthly.
