Overview
This is an invitation for bids for the REBID-DREAMS-I-CW-01-RWASA contract, which involves the Improvement of Water Supply System in Rawalpindi. The works are divided into LOT-2 and LOT-3.
Key Responsibilities
- Procurement of LOT-2: Integrated Water Supply System based on Chahan Dam - Intermediate Pumping Station (IPS) at Ranial with allied civil / electric / mechanical works., and MS Conductance Mains Works .
- Procurement of LOT-3: Integrated Water Supply System based on Chahan Dam - Intermediate Pumping stations & water works at Akbar Chowk, Chakra and Adiala.
Required Experience
- Participation as a contractor, Joint Venture partner, or Subcontractor, in at least one contract that has been satisfactorily and substantially completed within the last (10) years and that is similar to the proposed works, where the value of the Bidder’s participation exceeds Lot-2: PKR 3,425 million or US$ equivalent or Lot-3: PKR 5,300 million or US$ equivalent .
- Similarity of Bidder’s participation based on experience in execution of water supply and/or sewerage projects.
Qualifications
- National bidders participating as single entities must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) and possess a valid registration certificate in Category C-A with specialization in CE09(ii) and CE10(i).
- In the case of a joint venture: the lead partner, if a national firm, must meet the PEC registration requirement of Category C-A with specialization in CE09(ii) and CE10(i).
- Each other national JV partner shall hold a PEC registration certificate in Category C-B or higher and shall also possess specialization in CE09(ii), and CE10(i).
- All national JV members shall maintain valid PEC registration covering the required categories and specializations.
