Overview
The UN Resident Coordinator System is seeking an intern to provide administrative and operational support to ensure the smooth functioning of daily activities within the office.
Key Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day administrative and operational tasks.
- Assist in drafting routine correspondence and preparing basic administrative documents.
- Support filing, archiving, and maintenance of electronic and physical records.
- Provide logistical support for meetings and events.
- Assist with procurement and contract-related documentation and record-keeping.
- Support basic finance and budget tracking activities.
- Assist with HR-related administrative tasks.
- Support data entry and updating of internal databases and SharePoint records.
- Provide general office support, including inventory tracking and office supplies management.
- Perform other related duties in support of office operations.
Required Experience
Applicants to the UN Internship Programme are not required to have professional work experience.
Qualifications
- Applicants must be a student in the final year of the first university degree (bachelor or equivalent), Master’s or Ph.D. Programme or equivalent, or have completed a Bachelor’s, Master’s or Ph.D. Programme.
- Preferred studies: Enrolled in a bachelor’s (final year) or master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, Communications, or related fields.
