Overview

The UN Resident Coordinator System is seeking an intern to provide administrative and operational support to ensure the smooth functioning of daily activities within the office.


Key Responsibilities
  • Support day-to-day administrative and operational tasks.
  • Assist in drafting routine correspondence and preparing basic administrative documents.
  • Support filing, archiving, and maintenance of electronic and physical records.
  • Provide logistical support for meetings and events.
  • Assist with procurement and contract-related documentation and record-keeping.
  • Support basic finance and budget tracking activities.
  • Assist with HR-related administrative tasks.
  • Support data entry and updating of internal databases and SharePoint records.
  • Provide general office support, including inventory tracking and office supplies management.
  • Perform other related duties in support of office operations.
Required Experience

Applicants to the UN Internship Programme are not required to have professional work experience.

Qualifications
  • Applicants must be a student in the final year of the first university degree (bachelor or equivalent), Master’s or Ph.D. Programme or equivalent, or have completed a Bachelor’s, Master’s or Ph.D. Programme.
  • Preferred studies: Enrolled in a bachelor’s (final year) or master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, Communications, or related fields.

Fluency in English language is required.

Knowledge of French would be desirable.
