Overview
Consultant to support the implementation of the ATHIS project by identifying, mapping, and systematizing information on relevant experts and initiatives, engaging with experts to establish a network, and managing an online platform for knowledge exchange.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, map, and systematize information on relevant experts, institutions, and initiatives related to ATHIS in the Global South.
- Engage and sustain collaboration with ATHIS experts in the Global South to establish a network.
- Conduct a needs assessment on ATHIS training and demand among Global South partners.
- Provide support and/or facilitate collaborative activities and workshops.
- Create, manage and promote content for the development of an online platform.
- Develop a sustainability plan for the ATHIS network platform.
- Provide support and technical guidance for conducting a Global Forum.
- Participate in field work missions as required.
- Complete all indicated courses and training activities, including BSAFE.
Required Experience
- A minimum of seven (7) years of experience in multi-stakeholder coordination and institutional articulation in Brazil is required.
- Experience in capacity building is desirable.
- Experience with social housing is desirable.
- Experience with South-South Cooperation is desirable.
- Experience in the social area and coordinating fieldwork, preferably in the public sector, is desirable.
- Previous experience working in the United Nations is desirable.
Qualifications
• Postgraduate degree (Lato Sensu or Stricto Sensu) in Architecture and Urbanism, Geography, Social Sciences, Social Work, Anthropology, History, Law, Communication or related fields is required, or additional four (4) years of relevant experience to the post, beyond the requirement.
