Overview
The Monitoring and Reporting Analyst will be responsible for ensuring effective monitoring and reporting of project results, facilitating knowledge management and learning, and providing evaluation and audit support.
Key Responsibilities
- Systematically collect, analyze, and clean data for project indicators.
- Regularly report in UNDP’s corporate monitoring systems.
- Administer and provide quality assurance for inputs for project dashboards.
- Organize and/or participate in field monitoring visits.
- Collect relevant lessons learned related to project implementation.
- Collect inputs for preparing corporate, donor, and government reports.
- Conduct fact-checking, proofreading, editing, and translation of report content.
- Support report finalization and coordinate workflow with editors and designers.
- Provide technical support during the development of concept notes for knowledge products.
- Participate in internal review working groups assessing the quality of knowledge products.
- Provide support to the finalization of knowledge products.
- Support knowledge products communication and dissemination.
- Support teams in preparation of briefing notes and presentations.
- Assist in organising and facilitating capacity-development sessions.
- Maintain high-quality, standardised documentation practices.
- Support in developing terms of reference for planned project and programme evaluation.
- Support the preparation of data and information requested for evaluations and audits.
- Contribute to reviewing evaluation reports and preparing management responses.
- Ensure using data from evaluations for corporate and donor reporting purposes.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of online and offline data collection tools.
- Contribute to the organization of surveys.
- Support SCORE implementation.
- Assist with visualization and summarizing key findings of in-house research.
- Identify, synthesize and document best practices and lessons learned.
- Ensure the mainstreaming of gender equality and women’s empowerment considerations.
Required Experience
Applicants with Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) are required to have a minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience at the national or international level in monitoring, reporting, evaluation, research, or data management within development, humanitarian assistance, or early recovery projects.
Qualifications
Advanced university degree (Master's degree or equivalent) in Sociology, Social Sciences, Statistics, Information Management, Research, Monitoring and Evaluation, Business Administration, Public Administration or related field is required; A first-level university degree (Bachelor’s degree) in the areas mentioned above in combination with an additional two years of qualifying experience will be given due consideration in lieu of the advanced university degree.
