Overview

Act as a key focal point for resource planning and analysis, supporting management in the effective allocation, utilization, and monitoring of financial and operational resources. Lead the development and enhancement of analytical tools and dashboards.


Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a key focal point for resource planning and analysis.
  • Lead the development, maintenance, and enhancement of analytical tools and dashboards using Excel, Power BI, and Umoja.
  • Provide high-quality, data-driven insights to support decision-making.
  • Support the planning, forecasting, and monitoring of programme and project resources.
  • Contribute to the implementation and operationalization of the Programme Operational Support Hub (POSH).
  • Coordinate effectively with programme, finance, and administrative teams.
  • Identify inefficiencies in existing processes and contribute to the design and implementation of improved procedures.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to staff on the use of Umoja, Excel, and Power BI.
  • Support the preparation of periodic and ad hoc reports.
  • Provide ad hoc operational and administrative support as required.
  • Set up and manage data refresh processes for Power BI dashboards.
  • Define and track KPIs in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Train users on dashboard navigation and data interpretation.
  • Prepare documentation for data processes and dashboard usage.
  • Support data migration to the Europe Hub model.
  • Ensure data sorting, validation, and quality control.
Required Experience
  • A minimum of seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in resource planning, financial management, programme management, data analysis, or related areas is required.
  • Demonstrated experience in providing strategic advisory support and contributing to decision-making processes is required.
  • Proven operational expertise in managing complex projects, including planning, coordination, and implementation, is required.
  • Experience in data analytics and reporting tools (e.g. Excel, Power BI) is required.
  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems such as Umoja is desirable.
Qualifications

University degree in Finance, Economics and Data Analytics, IT or related field.
