Overview
The Associate Senior Solutions Architect leads the execution of strategic business requirements by designing integrated, AI-ready technology solutions and guiding their implementation across software, data, and cloud infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Designs scalable, cloud-native architecture solutions that align with client needs, industry standards, and enterprise development goals.
- Develops and maintains documentation for architecture designs, integration patterns, and platform standards to facilitate knowledge sharing across the organization.
- Establishes architectural guardrails for both pro-code development and enterprise low-code/no-code platforms.
- Evaluates emerging technologies, tools, and frameworks, particularly AI integrations, agentic workflows, and developer productivity tools, to enhance solution performance and reliability.
- Produces and maintains high-quality architecture documentation, including design decisions, standards, and reusable patterns, to enable knowledge sharing and organizational consistency.
- Executes architectural reviews, ensuring adherence to DevSecOps best practices and organizational modernization goals.
- Helps monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation that reduce operational friction.
- Partners with Agile teams to identify inconsistencies in architectural design and assist them with systemic enhancements.
- Supports the communication of the organization’s solutions architecture vision to stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives and Program Increment (PI) planning.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into highly performant product specifications.
- Actively supports Agile teams with the hands-on implementation of the architecture.
Required Experience
- Requires a Master's degree with 8 years of experience or a Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Extensive, hands-on architectural experience designing and implementing solutions within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem and enterprise low-code/pro-code platforms, specifically OutSystems and Power Platform.
- Proven ability to design and document scalable, end-to-end technology solutions that integrate hardware, software, data, and network systems across distributed environments, with demonstrated experience translating complex business requirements into comprehensive architectural blueprints aligned with enterprise standards and industry best practices.
- Strong technical knowledge evaluating functionality, constraints, and compatibility across diverse technology stacks and platforms, ensuring seamless integration, system stability, high availability, and optimal performance in heterogeneous IT environments.
- Experience conducting architectural reviews and assessments of emerging technologies, tools, and frameworks to recommend solutions that enhance reliability, scalability, and cost-effectiveness while identifying opportunities for innovation and modernization that drive competitive advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to work embedded with Agile Release Trains and cross-functional teams, participating in Program Increment planning, identifying architectural inconsistencies, and providing just-in-time design guidance that enables teams to deliver business value while maintaining architectural integrity.
- Ability to bridge business and technology perspectives by gathering and analyzing stakeholder requirements, articulating the solutions architecture vision to both technical and non-technical audiences, and negotiating trade-offs between business needs, technical constraints, and organizational goals.
- Track record of establishing and maintaining architecture standards, design patterns, and documentation frameworks that facilitate knowledge sharing across the organization, while providing technical guidance and coaching to development teams and junior architects on architectural principles and implementation best practices.
Qualifications
Master's degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.
