Overview
Lead the end-to-end implementation, enhancements, and support of the Murex platform for the Operations and Finance stream. Capture requirements and translate them into technical configurations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Operations and Finance stream in the end-to-end implementation, enhancements, and support of the Murex platform.
- Work closely with operations and finance to capture requirements and translate them into technical configurations that get implemented across systems.
- Lead and manage resources to deliver stable build on the stream that meets the business requirements.
- Ensure promoting stable changes into production that don’t cause regressions on the Operations and Finance stream.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Risk, Front Office, IT) to ensure end-to-end trade lifecycle integrity.
Required Experience
- Master’s degree with 8+ years’ experience or Bachelor’s with 10+ years; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Good understanding of project management approaches and, ideally, projects implemented under the Agile Framework.
- Strong understanding of Forex, Money Markets, Derivatives, Bonds, and Securities Finance products, including their trade lifecycle and accounting schemas.
- In-depth knowledge of SWIFT messages for different Treasury products, this includes both confirmations, cash settlement and security settlement messages.
- Very good knowledge of Derivative clearing, CLS settlement, Confirmation Matching, Collateral management, Security statics and Collateral agreements.
- Very good understanding of Murex workflows with the ability to utilize it to achieve business requirements.
- Very good understanding of every Event that is supported by the above products and how it impacts the back-office lifecycle along its accounting.
